Thanks Gail,
I've been meaning to phone you or email you but I've been so busy at work and so tired still from the trip!
The wedding was really nice we had a great time, it was beautiful.  Our pictures turned out awesome.  I want to send you a disc with them so you can see for yourself!
When we first got to the resort we found out that half of it was shut down for low season so they moved everyone to the Palace which was awesome, we were so happy!!  However later that night when we got back from the disco I was washing my feet in the sink and a cockroach came up from the sink and I freaked out!!!!  I was crying and everything!!  That was a bad night!  So the next day we went to the front desk to tell them and they said they would fumigate.  However when we got back to our room later that afternoon nothing was done the maids had not even cleaned our room!!  So we went back and got them to switch us rooms to the second level.  I felt better after that.    A couple days later I got back form zip lining and found out that a bunch of our friends had upgraded to the Palace Deluxe hotel for an extra $9.00 a night per person, so it took me about 2 seconds to go get our upgrade and pack!!!  I don't know why they didn't ask us or everybody for that matter if we wanted to do so!  Especially after my cockroach incident!!  The rooms were amazing!!!  It just opened in December so it was brand new!!!!  I would've had a better holiday if we were there from the get go!!
The beach and water was to die for, we could go right to the rope and there were no rocks and the water was only to our upper chest!  Everybody had a really fun time.  It almost rained the day of the wedding but thank God it didn't.  My flowers were not really what I was hoping for but everyone else liked them.  The food at the resort was okay, but pretty much everyone got sick at some point or another.  The day after the wedding Sean went segway-ing with some friends (really fun by the way) and unfortunately they were being dumb and collided.  Sean got really bad road rash and Dayne had to get stitches in his finger.  Sean's foot was broken but he didn't want to tell them because he didn't want to have to go to the hospital.  It was a gongshow!!!!  And finally when I got back home and opened my suitcases, I saw that someone had gone through my stuff and they stole my bracelet that I wore on my wedding!!!  It was a Swarwoski crystal bracelet that my mom bought me!!!   I'm pretty sure that it was stolen at the Punta Cana airport.  That was really upsetting to me I feel like I've been violated!  I should have brought it on th eplane with me but I had them in there on the way down so I did not even think about that at all!!!
I found that not many people spoke english so it was really frustrating to get anything done or fixed if we had a problem!!!  They would just nod there heads and say yes, but you knew they had no idea what we were saying.  All of the shows and entertainment were all in mostly in Spanish as well so that was weird.
The only way we'd go back to that resort is if we were to stay in the deluxe rooms, they were so cool, every room had its own tub on the deck!!
Sean went golfing at the Rocco Ki golf course, he went with three other guys that were with us, they had an awesome time.  They said it was an amazing golf course.
We are going to be officially married Moday June 1st at 9pm!!  Can't wait so I can change my name!!
I will send you either a disc with thte wedding photos or email them to you sometime soon, and also just pictures that I took on the trip!!
Sorry again that I took so long to get back to you!!
Talk to you soon,
Nathalie
