Click image to enlarge | Honeymoon In Paradise! The name of the resort definitely lived up to our expectations. The heat of the Bahamas was apparent as soon as we stepped off the airplane. The weather remained beautiful the entire time. We arrived at night and thought the room was rather small but the morning view of the ocean and the resort more than made up for the size of the room. The resort was all ages but the majority of people there were also honeymooners. The resort did have one nightclub, which we went to a couple of times but found the temperature inside hotter than outside and almost unbearable. We spent most of our days basking in the sun at the Club Med beach, it was so clean there was no need to visit the pool. Club Med had an array of activities. We'd recommend the snorkeling and sailing. |
Click image to enlarge | We also went on an excursion to the Exumas. The excursion was pricey but the day was amazing and beach was like right out of the movies. We purchased the bar bracelets before we went and took full advantage of them, something we'd highly recommend especially for the fruity Bahamas Mamas. The buffet was good but Club Meds bread selection was amazing! The staff at Club Med were energetic and fun, so the after dinner shows were entertaining. We also did some shopping in Nassau and the infamous straw market. Shopping was quite expensive and the peddlers on the street can be relentless, but for the most part the locals were friendly and we felt quite safe. A must see is the Atlantis hotel. We'd recommend spending at day at the pool, touring the aquarium and checking out the casino. |
